Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • This submission has not previously been published and has not been reviewed by other journals (or provide an explanation in the comments for the editor).
  • The submission file is a document in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF format
  • Web links in the text are accompanied by full valid URLs.
  • The text has to be typed 14 sizes of Word text editor at one and a half interval; all illustrations, graphs and tables are placed directly in the text, where they should be in content (and not at the end of the document).

Requirements for publications in the journal "New Pedagogical Thought"

Scientific and methodical journal "New pedagogical thought" is included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine of category "B" in the field of pedagogical sciences (specialties - 011, 014, 015). The journal publishes articles on: philosophy of education, comparative pedagogy and history of education, theory and practice of pedagogy, didactics, methods and modern educational technologies of teaching and education, psychology, social pedagogy, preschool and primary education, linguistics and literature, aesthetic and physical education , the contribution of scientists and educators to the development of the national school, etc.

The article should correspond to the subject of the journal and the current state of pedagogical science and educational practice.

The article is submitted in Ukrainian, English and / or the official languages ​​of the European Union in the amount of at least 10 pages of typewritten text, on sheets of white paper of standard format using Times New Roman 14 font size Word text editor at one and a half intervals.

The electronic version of the article is made in the Word editor and * doc format, and a copy - in * rtf format; name the file after the author of the article. Type the file name in Latin letters (eg: Petrenko. Rtf; Petrenko. Doc). A4 page format, Times New Roman font, size 14, line spacing 1.5, paragraph indent 1.25 cm, all margins - 2 cm.

For authors who do not have a degree, it is important to add an external review.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR AUTHOR'S MANUSCRIPTS:

  1. The UDC index (universal decimal classifier) ​​is placed in front of the title of the article, a separate line, in the upper left corner. The UDC index is determined by the author (size 14, alignment on the left edge, without indents of the first line, bold).
  2. Information about the author (authors) without abbreviations: surname and name (alignment on the right edge of the text, bold, size 14).
  3. Academic degree, academic title, position (without abbreviations, alignment on the right edge, size 14, italics).
  4. Place of work: name of the institution (without abbreviations), settlement, country (alignment on the right edge, size 14, italics).
  5. ORCID (registration on the site - http://orcid.org/), (alignment on the right edge, the font is normal 14).
  6. e-mail (right-aligned, italic, size 14).
  7. Title of the article (size 14, bold, capital letters, paragraph without indents of the first line, centered).
  8. The word "Abstract" (bold, size 14). Next in the same line is the annotation of the article (the font is normal, in width, size 14). The abstract in Ukrainian and / or the official languages ​​of the European Union must be at least 1200 characters long.

The title of the article, name and data about the authors, annotation, keywords in English (not less than 1800 characters) are made in the same way as in Ukrainian.

Importantly! If the article is published in English and / or the official languages ​​of the European Union, the annotation in Ukrainian must be at least 1800 characters, respectively, the annotation in English and / or the official languages ​​of the European Union - 1200 characters.

  1. The phrase "Keywords" (bold, size 14) - words from the text of the material, which in terms of information retrieval carry a meaningful load. Keywords are given in the nominative case, the total number of keywords - not less than five and not more than ten (normal font, size 14).
  2. The main part of the article (font, size 14) should contain the following structural elements:

Formulation of the problem.

Analysis of recent research on the problem.

The purpose of the article.

Presentation of the main research material.

Conclusions and prospects for further exploration.

All parts of the article should be highlighted.

If there are figures in the text, they must have captions, respectively, each table - the title.

  1. The subheading "LIST OF USED LITERATURE" (in the original language) is made out in a separate paragraph, size 14, in capital letters, centered; designed in accordance with Harvard style (Harvard referencing style);

 in the case of writing an article in English, reference is made to the transliterated version of the literature and sources.

 the list of references is not numbered and drawn up in accordance with the sequence of mention in the text;

 we recommend to make the list of the used sources from no more than 15-20 names (a font usual, the size - 14).

  1. After the list of used sources and literature "REFERENCES" is submitted.

You can automate the transliteration process using the software available at the appropriate addresses. The transliteration of the Ukrainian text should be based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 27, 2010 № 55.

After automatic transliteration, it is necessary to check the correctness of the result and make appropriate adjustments. Transliterated literature and sources should contain only elements important for analytical processing (authors' names, name of the original source, source data).
