The mission of the teacher in the implementation of the value priorities of the New Ukrainian School
Abstract
The article reveals the relevance of studying the socially significant problem of the society of the teacher’s mission in realizing the value priorities of the New
Ukrainian School. The links between competitiveness and authority, competence, professionalism, attitude to the work of the teacher are distinguished; The emphasis is on the acute need of society for high-level professional teachers, who are marked by their commitment to self-improvement and their indifference to the evaluation of their work by the subjects of pedagogical interaction. Effective mechanisms for forming a teacher as a competitive specialist have been identified, which will help to determine the conditions for continuous improvement of pedagogical work through the experimental introduction of innovative technologies in the educational process of institutions of general secondary education.
The readiness of teachers to introduce new learning technologies is an important factor in innovative changes in the organization of the educational process in general secondary education institutions. It should be noted that the technological culture of the teacher helps to optimize the educational process, creates the conditions for effective implementation of innovations. The practice of implementing innovative technologies is quite diverse,
so a combination of frontal, group and individual forms of work, which include a set of problematic, partially search and research methods of training, is actively used.
Thus, the processes that take place in modern society determine the specifics of an important problem – the
competitiveness of the specialist in the labor market. Its relevance is due to the need for a creative personality of a specialist, which is characterized by a high level of professionalism, competence, creative initiative, fundamental literacy, awareness of personal goals and focus on their achievement.
