Activity stage of realization of the system of formation of social activity of youth in institutes of civil society

Abstract

Based on the theoretical analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature and on the results of experimental research of young people aged 18 to 35 years. The research determined the mostly low level of social activity of young people. So, an author’s system was developed. We consider the system of formation of social activity of youth in civil society institutions as a holistic process that includes a set of interconnected and interdependent components, in particular, purpose, object and subject, content, directions, forms and methods of working with youth in civil society institutions. The following stages were singled out in the system: informational, educational, activity. The article presents the results of the introduction of the system of formation of social activity of youth in the institutions of civil society at the activity stage. A number of projects and activities were announced, which were implemented in the activities of public organizations, youth centers, youth councils and charitable foundations of the Donetsk region during 2017–2019. In order to form social-activity and reflective-evaluative components of social activity of youth, two projects on arrangement of places of free rest for youth were realized: coworking «Free space» in the dormitory of Donbass State Pedagogical University and creative space «Intent» in the main building. the same university. The project «Civic Education of Youth in Eastern Ukraine» was aimed, on the one hand, to provide young participants with knowledge about project activities, NGOs, principles of youth policy, etc., and on the other – to hold a mini-competition for youth projects to address local community problems. In order to develop youth policy in the Donetsk region on the way to the formation of social competence and self-assessment of social activity of young people in CSOs, an advocacy information campaign «#YouthOrderChanges» was conducted. The project «Strengthening the role of youth in the management processes of the Donetsk region » was implemented in order to form the content-cognitive and reflexive-evaluative components of social activity of youth.
