Methods of forming professional competence in labor protection of future specialists in the agricultural sector

Abstract

The article defines and characterizes problems and methods of forming professional competence in occupational safety of future agrarian specialists. The degree of problem development is revealed, a number of contradictions are revealed, the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the research is specified. The content is defined, the structure of professional competence on occupational safety of future specialists in agrarian sphere is specified. The model of professional competence in occupational safety of future specialists in agrarian sphere is developed and pedagogical conditions of its formation are grounded. The components are distinguished: motivational, cognitive, operational-activ and personal-reflexive. The content and main components of professional competence in occupational safety of future specialists in agro-industrial complex are substantiated: health-forming, organizational-technical, regulatory-managerial and information-preventive. The structural and logical scheme of the model consists of three main blocks: target, content-axiological, operational-reflexive.It is found out that the structure of professional competence is determined by the main criteria: need-motivation; cognitive-gnostic; activity-technological;
personal. To assess effectiveness of the formation of professional competence in students’ occupational safety and safety training of agricultural professionals levels of formation are defined, namely: low, medium and high.The proposed model provides effective formation of future specialists’ professional
competence in the following stages: diagnostic-motivational, activity-methodical, reflexive-corrective.The methodology of realization of the model of formation of future agricultural specialists’ professional competence in occupational safety is developed. The necessity of introducing problematic and situational approaches (problem, educational design, simulation game, case method) into the process of agricultural workers preparation is substantiated.
