The state of readiness of teachers zsso before use information and educational environment to implement a remote training in quarantine, caused by Covid-19
Abstract
The article reveals the current state and prospects of readiness of teachers - teachers, heads of secondary schools, practical psychologists, social educators and other categories of educators to use the tools of information and educational environment for distance learning in quarantine. The definition of the concept of readiness of teachers to use the tools of information and educational environment for the implementation of educational activities in quarantine is done. Based on a survey of teachers and other categories of educators, the problems
faced by teachers during the quarantine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are outlined. Among the identified positive trends, it was found that teachers are responsible for the organization of distance learning, actively engaged in self-education on the use of ICT (61 %). The most active educators use the following tools: Viber – 88,2 %, YouTube – 72,9 %, Prometheus – 32,5 %. Among
the most effective forms of distance learning, teachers included webinars, online courses, workshops, online conferences, online seminars and online projects. Among the obstacles and problems are: insufficient access to tools and software, lack of awareness, lack of clear instructions from the management of educational institutions, etc. Challenges and responses of the international
pedagogical community to address the issues of distance learning in quarantine, based on the conclusions of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Council of Europe are outlined. The novelty of the study is that based on the identified problems the relevant recommendations are provided for the organization of distance learning to develop the information
and educational environment of general secondary education, aimed at: public authorities, general secondary education, postgraduate pedagogical education, NGOs and others stakeholders.
