Improving the organization of research work of students as a component of professional training in higher education institutions
Abstract
The article analyzes scientific publications on the problem of improving the organization of research work of students of higher education institutions. The presence of a significant number of scientific researches in this direction has been established. However, there is a need to improve the organization of research work from the standpoint of the competency approach. Based on the interpretation of the content of research work as a subsystem of professional training of future specialists in higher education institutions, the ways of improving the organization of research work of future specialists in the process of training in institutions of higher education as an important component of professional training are substantiated.The stages and priority tasks for improving the research work of future specialists at the stage of professional training, which will contribute to the formation of skills of research activities during the performance of professional duties in the workplace, have been identified. To improve the organization of research work of future professionals, it is proposed to consider and implement a number of tasks: to improve the methodological support of research work of students, in particular to agree on its purpose, objectives, types, content, requirements for implementation, taking into account the specifics of professional training. educational process of students of a certain specialty; to develop common criteria for the effectiveness of research work of students; to ensure the training of faculty to lead research work of students by conducting methodological seminars, consultations, competitions, etc., as well as to develop a system for monitoring the effectiveness of research work of students, as well as appropriate adjustment of methodological documents, taking into account shortcomings. Prospects for further research are to experimentally test the proposed methodological innovations in the training of future professionals in the free economic zone.
