COMPETENCE MODELEMPLOYER OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATIONIN THE SPHERE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Abstract
The paper presents the results of the research carried out at the Department of Creative Pedagogics and Intellectual Property of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy aimed at the creation of a competency model of a teacher of a general secondary educational institution in the field of intellectual property. An organizational and managerial unit was also provided for the competency structure of the head of the institution of general secondary education in the field of intellectual property. The materials presented make it possible to substantially adjust the curriculum of professional training of future teachers and advanced training plans for employees of institutions of general secondary education, which is especially important in the process of diversification of these processes in the educational system of Ukraine. The paper covers in detail each component of the competence of educators in the field of intellectual property with an established structure of competence (knowledge, skills, and professionally important qualities). Attention is focused on the need to build the competence of educators in the field of intellectual property as an element of creating internal school systems to ensure the quality of education in that part, which refers to the observance of academic integrity by participants in the educational process. An essential part of the paper is presented by detailed analysis of existing scientific sources in the field of competency-based modeling, which allows us to draw certain conclusions about the dynamics of this process in Ukraine and abroad, and makes it possible to submit relevant proposals. First of all, this concerns the improvement of the content of the standards of primary, basic secondary and specialized secondary education, some of which are still under development. It is also proposed to pay more attention to the communication processes between specialists in the field of intellectual property and producers and consumers of educational services. The materials presented are also useful for secondary education leaders in the context of formation of a quality assurance system for education.
