Values and content of the categories of «Civil solidarity» and «Solidarism» in the professional formation of the future teachers

Abstract

The article deals with topical issues of professional growth of future teachers, specifically the forming civic competence, as the key to the existence of civil society and the rule of law.

The essence of the concepts of «civil solidarity» and «solidarism» was revealed, the importance of educating civic culture of future specialists of the education system as an element of their professional competence was substantiated.

The author highlight globalization processes in the modern world, which have an impact on the educational space of the Ukrainian state, and the fact that civic solidarity plays an important role in state-building processes, in the conditions of modern geopolitical challenges was emphasized. Social transformations require the emergence of a qualitatively new level teacher – competent, intellectual, with a high level of development of moral and ethical qualities, patriotic, able to acquire and transmit the skills of an active citizen. The future teacher must be able to interact socially, easily communicate and develop these skills in their students, teach them to take an active civic position, provide quality civic education, develop critical thinking, cultivate a high level of civic culture. Analytical studies have been conducted in the context of establishing and substantiating major challenges that are increasingly complex and large-scale. The value orientations of forming civil solidarity among student youth through a prism of development pedagogical skills are outlined.

Contradictions and obstacles to the implementation of civic education of student youth in Ukraine are partially considered. The author sees prospects for further scientific research in the detailed development of technology for the formation of civil solidarity in the student youth of pedagogical universities.
