Formation of the information and digital competence of the head of the general institution secondary education: theoretical aspect
Abstract
The article gives a theoretical analysis of the formation of the directors`of the educational institution information and digital competence. It has been defined necessary conditions and factors contributing to the development of information. Alsoit has been singled out digital competence.
The essence of management is that the director plays a huge role in the development of the internal system of ensuring the quality of education. Therefore, modern heads of institutions of general secondary education must possess a number of general and professional competencies, skills in strategic planning, system modeling and organization of effective interpersonal and professional communications in the teaching staff. One of the important ones is the information and digital competence of the head of the educational institution.
The director of the educational institution must understand the role he can play in the shaping of student’s personality as a person of information civilization. The information and digital competence of students must be formed by the director of the educational institution who himself has much culture.
Therefore, for the system of education organizing information education and improving information and digital competence of a person is a problem of paramount importance, and pedagogical workers become the key figures, and in the first place real increases in the level of information and digital competence of young people who study depend on them. It has become a priority for secondary schools to cultivate a taste to the systematic application of information and communication and innovative pedagogical technologies, multimedia and the Internet in everyday life.
At the same time, despite the importance of problems, there is a little attention to the development of information and digital competence of director of the educational institution in a secondary education institution in science and practice. It is not developed an effective model for the managing its formation in the new social conditions. It has been offered the forms and methods of formation the information and digital competence.
