Modern model of the methodist institution extracurricular education: from theory to practice
Abstract
The article pays attention to the fact that today the reform of the national education system, in par- ticular extracurricular education, upbringing, develop- ment and socialization of the younger generation. It has been carried out in the context of the renewal of world educational paradigms.
It has been emphasized that the effectiveness of ex- tracurricular education is ensured by the creative work of its teaching team, specialists from various fields of knowl- edge, which allows for in-depth educational, developmen- tal and socializing work with students of different ages.
The essence of the concept of «methodist», the specif- ics of professional activity and the function of methodical work are revealed. It has been established that the meth- odologist should fulfill the role of a mentor and assistant to novice teachers and experienced teachers, but must meet the requirements for the profession, be in constant search for innovations.
It has been characterized the position that at the cur- rent stage, a methodologist cannot be limited to methodical activities only in his educational institution, and therefore should strive to study the achievements of colleagues from other educational institutions and even from educational institutions of other regions of Ukraine and try to master and implement foreign pedagogical experience.
