Distance learning platforms in institutions of higher and institutions of professional (vocation-technical) education

Abstract

The relevance of maintaining the qual- ity of educational activities in modern schools is investi- gated, especially taking into account the widespread use of e-learning in higher education institutions. The use of remote technologies in the training of specialists, charac- terized by a high level of interactivity and accessibility for students via the Internet, is characterized. The necessity of distance learning for modern schools is substantiated and the great interest of the management of institutions in ensuring high-quality educational activities is revealed. The importance of forms of e-learning is considered and the analysis of popular platforms (Moodle, Blackboard, Google Classroom) is carried out with the allocation of their advantages and disadvantages.

The statistics of the use of platforms are given and the priority advantages of the Moodle platform are de- termined, including the characteristics and capabilities. Comparison of platforms with each other is made. It is specified that taking into account the growing popularity of distance learning, the management of schools should carefully choose technological solutions to ensure effec- tive education. The necessity of continuous improvement and adaptation of platforms to the changing needs of the modern educational environment is allocated. Now, more than ever, it is important for the school management to maintain the quality of educational activities of the institu- tion. There fore, today the training of specialists in higher education institutions through the form of e-learning is be- coming widely popular.

During the training of modern specialists, distance technologies are actively used, which are characterized by a high level of interactivity and allow students to study, which are in different places with access to the Internet. Distance learning is becoming a necessity for modern schools, and the management of institutions shows great interest in ensuring high-quality educational activities. The form of e-learning comes to the forefront in the train- ing of specialists.
