Formation of cultural competence of future leaders (principalists) of early education institutions in the conditions of master's degree
Abstract
The article is devoted to the key issues of training future specialists in preschool education in the current conditions. In particular, the primary attention is focused on the problem of forming the cultural competence of students of the second level (master’s) higher education as one of the ways to implement the standard «Head (Director) of Preschool Educational Institution» by various profile institutions, including higher education institutions.
The article analyses the works of specialists in psychology and pedagogy about the core aspects of cultural competence as one of the six general competencies defined in the Professional Standard: culture of self-expression, personal expression, and creative expression. The publication highlights the structural components of the studied phenomenon (cognitive, emotional and value, behavioural) and diagnostic methods (questionnaire, method of unfinished sentences, «Free Imagery» creative task), which provided the necessary information about the state of the problem in practice. Based on the analysis of the diagnostic results, the prospects for further scientific research are determined; namely, the identification of effective ways to form the cultural competence of future heads of preschool educational institutions in the conditions of the master's degree.
