Abstract

This study explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in inclusive education, focusing on ChatGPT and the Poe chatbot. AI-driven technologies enhance accessibility, adaptability, and efficiency, particularly for students with special educational needs. These tools automate educational processes, generate personalized learning materials, support multilingual education, and facilitate real-time translations. AI also improves student engagement by providing interactive and customized learning experiences.

ChatGPT is recognized as a versatile tool that models human-like dialogues, simplifies complex concepts, and adjusts tasks to students’ proficiency levels. It integrates with accessibility technologies such as Braille displays, speech-to-text software, and screen readers, ensuring inclusivity. Additionally, it assists educators by generating adaptive teaching materials, assessing student performance, and offering personalized learning pathways, optimizing the educational process.

The Poe chatbot stands out for integrating multiple language models (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) and offering extensive customization. It enables the rapid development of instructional content, real-time feedback, and automation of administrative tasks, reducing teacher workload. Its multilingual capabilities create an inclusive learning environment for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Ethical considerations, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and responsible AI deployment, are emphasized.

The study highlights AI’s transformative role in inclusive education, addressing its ability to bridge learning gaps, promote independent learning, and enhance student-teacher interactions. However, effective implementation requires adherence to security standards, ethical guidelines, and equitable technology access. Recommendations are provided for optimizing AI-based tools in education, emphasizing continuous evaluation, teacher training, and policy development to ensure sustainable and responsible AI adoption.
