SYSTEMIC APPROACH TO ORGANIZATION OF SCIENTIFIC AND METHODICAL WORK IN SCHOOL: THE EXPERIENCE OF VASIL SUKHOMLINSKY AND THE MODERNITY
Abstract
The article describes fundamental provisions of the organization of scientific and methodological work of Vasiliy Sukhomlinskiy with the teaching staff of Pavlysh Secondary School. Attention is focused on the features of pedagogical work and the personal qualities of a teacher. Analysis of the principles, forms and methods of organizing methodological work with teachers, families of students, inhabitants of Pavlysh village indicates the systematic nature of activity of the teaching staff of the school regarding the education of the well-rounded personality of each child. The organizer, scientific supervisor, mentor and generator of new ideas in this work was the school director, a humanist teacher Vasiliy Aleksandrovich Sukhomlinskiy. The priority directions of the organization of work with teachers of Pavlysh Secondary School are described: creation of optimal favorable conditions at school for class and extracurricular activities of students and teachers, creation of an active, creative teaching staff, organization of effective interaction between teachers and families of students. Special attention in the system of methodological work of Pavlysh Secondary School was paid to the formation of humanist attitudes between teachers and students, the spirituality of the teacher, his ability to investigate emerging issues in educational work with children. The necessity of studying and implementing the experience of organizing scientific and methodological work with the teaching staff of Pavlysh Secondary School in a modern Ukrainian school is emphasized. The system for organizing methodological work with the staff proposed by Vasiliy Sukhomlinskiy can be used in educational institutions of various types.
