PECULIARITIES OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF THE TEACHER OF THE SUBJECT MATTER

Abstract

The article highlights the peculiarities of the professional activity of the teacher of the subject «Protection of the Fatherland», namely: taking into account the specifics of military training; orientation to the current state and prognostic trends in the development of the military industry in the context of the real political situation in Ukraine; taking into account the interaction with physical culture; securing division into military and medical training; specifying and adjusting the general objectives of teaching to the specifics of the content of the subject «Protection of the Fatherland»; an integrative approach to learning technologies; the need for special training of the teacher of the subject «Protection of the Fatherland»; the development of a specific method of integrated training in the professional training of the teacher of the subject «Protection of the Fatherland»; providing retraining and advanced training. The possibilities of improving the teacher’s professional training in the subject «Protection of the Fatherland» (studying the students with the principles of normative-legal provision of civil defense, protection of life and health, understanding of students’ own duty regarding the protection of Ukraine, obtaining knowledge about the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations; assimilation of the principles of protection of the Fatherland, civil protection, medical assistance; psychological training of students for the protection of the state; training of students to protect the country; orientation of young people to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations established by the current legislation, to protect life and health, to ensure personal safety and security of others, etc. Specific problems of personnel training are identified, including the practical absence of institutions of higher education who are preparing and the retraining of teachers of this subject, the constant need for their retraining due to changes in the socio-political situation in the country, etc. The content, goals of the subject «Protection of the Fatherland» and the requirements for its teaching are described.
