Abstract

The issue of digital literacy of a graduate of an educational institution becomes especially acute at a time of rapid informatization of Ukrainian society and intensive renewal and reformatting of the educational sector. The formula of the New Ukrainian School: «Through the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process and management of educational institutions and the education system should become a tool to ensure the success of the new Ukrainian school».

Today's children are growing up immersed in mobile technology and computers. Personal devices create the environment through which young people interact with the outside world. Adolescents no longer accept traditional forms of learning and also need mobile technologies in education. They need a dynamic interactive environment that provides high-quality mastery of software material with maximum approximation to modern technical capabilities.

Therefore, the article analyzes the impact of mobile applications as a means of enhancing the cognitive activity of students, outlines the possibilities of expanding educational services with their help. The current state and development of mobile applications as one of the modern means of communication in the knowledge society are considered. The peculiarities and specifics of the use of mobile applications as a promising and effective tool for the dissemination of educational information resources, as well as the promotion of scientific, educational and self-educational processes in society are analyzed.

It should be noted that modern technologies in the dosed amount contribute not only to the exclusive study of subjects, but also the formation of digital competence of both students and teachers. Rational use of research mobile phones leads to time savings, increases students' motivation and quality feedback between a teacher and a learner.
