Abstract
With the development of Ukrainian statehood and the creation of a new space of educational opportunities actualizes the need to master the best practices for the development of professional excellence, in particular the appeal to the creativity of pedagogical dynasties. After all, the personality of the modern teacher, his/her activity as a researching teacher, innovator is a determining condition for the formation of a professional teacher. Among the essential features of a pedagogical dynasty we distinguish the public recognition of professional achievements of its representatives – creative, inspired, productive specialists. In general, the phenomenon of pedagogical dynasty remains understudied.
The purpose of the article is to highlight the life journey and creative successes of professionally competent, extraordinary individuals from the Varvary Vanhret teaching dynasty, which represents a plead of genuine, intelligent, talented, initiative teachers by vocation, masters of their craft.
Our study is an attempt to understand the pedagogical traditions in one family, where teachers are representatives of three generations – the head of the dynasty Varvara (Vira) Vanhret, her children Viktor Skok, Tetiana Sokol and grandchildren Viktoriia Dundiuk and Olha Sokol. Based on the analysis of reference books, scientific papers, archival materials and other sources, the socio-cultural portrait of a multifaceted and interesting dynasty of teachers who cultivate the philosophy of professional success and maximum self-fulfillment is outlined. An emphasis is placed on the importance of the experience of each of its representatives in the formation of a new vision of the prospects of the teaching profession, the attractiveness of the professional career of a teacher, the prestige of getting a pedagogical education in Ukraine.
We associate further scientific research with the continuation of the study of pedagogical dynasties of the region, designing a model of professional orientation to obtain a pedagogical education and testing its effectiveness by conducting a pedagogical experiment on «Professional orientation in the New Ukrainian School».
