Teachers training in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education to the implementation of new state educational standards

Abstract

The article deals with modern approaches to the training of pedagogical staff of general secondary education institutions for the implementation of new state educational standards in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education.

It has been substantiated the necessity of general and professional competences development of pedagogical workers. It has been confirmed urgency of the transition of postgraduate pedagogical education institutions from «advanced training» to «development of professional competences» of teachers, which in the future will have a significant impact on the formation of state policy in the field of adult education.

It has been emphasized necessity of the formation system of supervision as a tool for establishing pedagogy of partnership, professional support and development of pedagogical staff of general secondary education institutions in the implementation of the tasks of the New Ukrainian School. An important point is the development and application of a new model of scientific and methodological support of teachers in the functioning of territorial communities. Which is a significant factor in the effectiveness of their preparation for the implementation of the competence paradigm of education and new state educational standards.

The following main points have been highlighted: the changing professional roles of teachers in the context of competency education, the information society and the integration of the domestic education system into the European space; the importance of scientific and methodological work at the level of educational institutions, territorial community and postgraduate pedagogical education, which begins the formation of the system of professional development of teachers, increasing their readiness for teaching, to solve problems relevant to each period of society.

It has been proved that the implementation of the standard requires not only systematic training of teachers, but also rethinking the role of management of educational institutions in implementing new educational standards, creating a safe and healthy educational environment, reformatting professional communities and creating innovative structures in postgraduate pedagogical education.
