Use of university remembrance inscriptions for education of foreign communicators of the Ukrainian language
Abstract
The article draws attention to the specifics of learning the Ukrainian language by foreign communicants. We assume the study of the Ukrainian language valuable in the context of the history of the university. We consider that memorials, offices, auditoriums, laboratories of prominent figures, students, and university events to be such appropriate means. It’s important to use texts about memorial and commemorative signs in Ukrainian language classes as a foreign language in the context of grammatical, regional studies material, deeper understanding on this basis of sign figures of the chosen field of activity on the example of National Aviation University and Bogomolets National Medical University.We suppose that it is important to use texts about memorial and commemorative signs in Ukrainian language classes as a foreign language in the context of grammatical, regional studies material, deeper understanding on this basis of sign figures of the chosen field of activity on the example of National Aviation University and Bogomolets National Medical University. For the first time authors proposed the use of texts on memorial and memorial signs in Ukrainian as a foreign language in the context of grammatical, country material, deeper understanding on this basis of iconic figures of the chosen field of activity on the example of the above universities. The system of methodical receptions of work with texts of the country study sphere of communication in technical and medical universities is resulted.Students' attention is drawn to the difference in the lexical meanings of the terms «memorial plaque» and «memorial sign».The article presents the algorithm of work with first-year students of the National Aviation University developed on this material, which was introduced in classes on the Ukrainian language as a foreign language during distance learning during 2020/2021. in particular, aspects of this work are considered. We think it’s important to acquaint foreign communicators with the text about memorial plaques, where the conceptual, grammatical apparatus is formed. The connection with the chosen specialty, the specifics of the activity can be traced on the example of tasks on this topic for students of the Bogomolets National Medical University.
