Methodological aspects of interactive educational software complex Mozabook application while conducting a competent maths lesson
Abstract
The article raises the issue of the importance of implementing the basic ideas of the competency approach in mathematics lessons. The authors reveal the essence of the competency lesson. It is noted that its methodological structure consists of the following fields: goal setting, motivational, semantic, technological, emotional and reflective. Emphasis is placed on the need to form in students the ability to perform interest calculations. The list of concepts considered in the section «Interest» («percentage», «ratio», «proportion», «scale», «interest calculations», etc.) is defined.
The methodological aspects of using the tools of the interactive platform Mozaik Education, which is part of the interactive educational software complex MozaBook, in conducting a competency lesson of generalization and systematization of knowledge, skills and abilities on the topic «Attitudes and proportions». Taking into account the peculiarities of each of the fields of the methodological structure of the competence lesson, the authors proposed developed examples of exercises and tasks; interactive exercises have been identified that should be used to motivate students to learn and create a situation of success. An example of filling an electronic notebook with tasks, theoretical information and other interactive elements or tools in the MozaBook software package is presented. It describes their possible use during the lesson.
The authors concluded that the use of author's interactive e-notebook created by means of MozaBook during the competency lesson in mathematics allows to shift the emphasis in the direction of developing students' ability to act practically and apply the acquired knowledge and experience in various practical situations. The given author's examples and ways of using some MozaBook tools in the lesson demonstrated the increase of students' interest and creation of their emotional satisfaction.
