Use of genial.ly interactive posters in biology lessons in general secondary education
Abstract
The article proves the importance and necessity of introducing the latest information technologies in the educational process of general secondary education institutions. It is emphasized the need for integration of modern educational and information technologies which becomes an important condition for improving the learning process. It is drawn attention on the fact that the digitalization of education contributes not only to improving the forms and content of the educational process, but improving the efficiency of learning materials and individualization of learning, integration of teaching and research, and also increasing motivation to learn, creative thinking. It is noted on importance of interactivity and visualization of educational content with the use of digital tools, which allows better understanding and mastering abstract concepts, to form practical skills.
In order to ensure active and meaningful work of students in biology lessons, interest in studying the subject, as well as the introduction of the principle of clarity in the educational process, it is proposed to use interactive posters of the Genial.ly service. The article considers the possibilities and expediency of using interactive posters of the Genial.ly service in the professional activity of a biology teacher. Features of resource use, sequence of stages of creation of an interactive poster are described. In addition to the use of interactive posters, there are also examples of ways to use other interactive tools of the Genial.ly service in biology lessons: video presentation, infographics, interactive textbook, quiz, etc.
