Methodological aspects of realizing the educational potential of Mykola Lysenko's creativity in the process of professional training of future art teachers

Abstract

The proposed study aims to highlight certain methodological aspects (at the level of principles, methods, types of educational activities) of the professionally oriented use of Mykola Lysenko's work in the context of the «History of Music» course. The context of the educational course for higher education institutions «History of Music» was chosen as the base.

The content of the concept of «pedagogical potential» is substantiated. It has been interpreted as the internal capabilities of the didactic material, that is necessary for identification, pedagogical interpretation and direction in order to realize the goals of the didactic process. It has been focused attention on the educational and, developmental potential of the work of the outstanding Ukrainian classical composer Mykola Lysenko.

The author offers a method of realizing the pedagogical potential of an artist's creativity in the History of Music course, with focus on the professional structure of an art teacher, which includes personal, general pedagogical, and special artistic components.

Based on specific fragments of the proposed methodology, the author convinces: Mykola Lysenko's work has a powerful pedagogical energy, which is important for the formation of future art teachers. Сompliance with the didactic principles of practical orientation, integrity, artistic integration, variability, etc. Using of active learning methods contributes to the effective solution of educational and developmental (methods of thematic reference books, thematic variation, «emotional charge», didactic excursion, modeling of professional situations, etc.), educational (example methods, professional guidelines) goals of the «History of Music» course, in particular in the process of studying the work of Mykola Lysenko.

The specified methodical approaches allow to intensify the development of the main components of the professional activity of an art teacher.
