Scientific-educational cooperation of the European union and Ukraine
Abstract
The article analyzes peculiarities of scientific-educational cooperation between Ukraine and the EU based on theoretical and applied approaches. It has been noted that the highly qualified specialists training in the field of science and technology, who are able to restore civil infrastructure and work for the defense of the state after the war, is one of the priority tasks of the Ukrainian society. Cooperation with the European Union will help Ukraine to support reforming and reorganization of the management system of the scientific sphere and research institutions (in particular, in the development of its potential for the science and technology progress) in order to promote the development of a competitive economy and society based on knowledge.
It has been focused attention on the fact that the unprecedented support of Ukraine by the European Union during the war is evidenced by the positive impact of Ukraine's participation in educational and scientific programs that contribute to the education and science sphere reforming. Ukraine's participation in the EU research and innovation framework programs is one of the strategic components of international scientific, scientific-technical and innovative cooperation and part of the Association Agreement implementation between Ukraine and the EU.
It has been emphasized that the high level of the international scientific-educational programs organizers responsibility and the willingness to cooperate with the Ukrainian Higher Educational Institutions representatives. It is also evidenced by the fact that, under the conditions of the war against Ukraine, international partners are developing action algorithms for international academic mobility and approving simplified procedures for current and potential Ukrainian students and pupils.
