Development of the evaluation system results of student learning in institutions of general secondary education of the New Ukrainian School
Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of scientific works and conducted researches, regulatory and legal documents in the field of education. It has been outlined the essence and role of evaluating the learning outcomes of education seekers in the context of the requirements of the New Ukrainian School. Attention is focused on the importance of developing a system for evaluating student learning outcomes in educational institutions.
Its main components (principles, functions, main goals, objects, types, forms and methods, methods; scale, criteria, rules and procedures by which evaluation carried out. Assessment tools, value orientations of assessment at the National University of Higher Education) as indicators of improving the quality of education in the conditions of the implementation of the modern model of competency-based education.
It has been substantiated the need to use methods and techniques of formative assessment as a tool for monitoring the student's educational progress, as an effective strategy for increasing the level of his educational achievements. Recommendations are provided for their use during training sessions. It has been proven that the development of a system for evaluating the results of students' learning in educational institutions is an important factor in solving the tasks of the New Ukrainian School and the integration of the national education system into the European area.
