Project activity in the preparation process specialists in institutions of higher education
Abstract
The article draws attention to the fact that in the context of the realization of Ukraine’s aspirations to become an equal member of the European community. The process of creating prerequisites in higher education institutions for improving the quality of training of future specialists becomes especially relevant. The development of civil society, the reform of the education system, as well as the course towards European integration fundamentally change the system of education and science. It has been studied the terms «project», «project method», «project activity».
The article presents the results of the analysis of scientific research on the implementation of project activities in the process of training specialists in institutions of higher education. The analysis of such activities made it possible to outline directions for the formation of teachers’ readiness for project activities to improve the quality of specialist training: scientifically based monitoring of educational activities in a higher education institution; intensification of educational and methodical work; involvement of teachers and students in conducting scientific research work on current issues; introduction of active forms and methods of teaching teachers at specially organized seminars on the development of individual research and inventive tasks, intensification and activation of the application of forms and methods of professional improvement, etc.
