Project method in educational institutions in Poland: formation and development
Abstract
The article examines the historical patterns of using the project method. The theoretical foundations of this method, as well as the peculiarities of its use in practice, are investigated. The essence of the project method, its basic principles and conditions for effective application are analyzed. The possibilities of involving students in the learning process through the organization of practical tasks and solving research issues are highlighted. The advantages of the project method are considered, such as stimulating students' independence and creativity, developing communication and teamwork skills, and increasing motivation to learn. Examples of successful project implementation in various fields of study are also analyzed. It is proved that the project method is an important factor in engaging students in active learning, developing integral thinking, and educating a creative personality. Particular attention is paid to the use of the project method in the didactic thought of Poland. Summarizing, the article highlights the effectiveness of the project method in teaching, its role in developing students' creativity, independence, and communication skills. It confirms that the project method is an important tool for the formation of a holistic personality ready for active participation in modern society. This approach to learning helps prepare the younger generation for the challenges and opportunities of today, making it relevant and promising in the modern educational space.
