The potential of cloud technologies for creating multimedia resources in pedagogical activities

Abstract

The article is dedicated to exploring the potential of cloud technologies for creating multimedia resources.

The increasing role of technology in the educational process demands constant updating and improvement of methods for creating and disseminating educational content. In the context of the growing need for effective teaching methods and access to knowledge, cloud technologies emerge as a powerful tool for enhancing the process of creating, storing, processing, and distributing multimedia materials and collaborative work on them.

The article examines the interpretation of the concepts of «multimedia» and «cloud technologies», as well as their integration into the educational process. It clarifies the role and place of cloud multimedia resources in shaping the digital competence of educators. It has been investigated the state of existing cloud services for working with multimedia material. It has been highlighted and analyzed the main ways of their utilization by educators in the educational process.

Based on the analysis of scientific papersc it has been outlined the results of surveys conducted among educators at the Volyn In-Service Teachers Training Institute, as well as personal experience, obstacles and challenges faced by educators in creating multimedia resources and using them in pedagogical activities.
