Abstract

. The article outlines the possibilities of improving the professional competences of future teachers of social science disciplines through self-improvement through familiarization with leading pedagogical ideas, modern technologies, innovative forms and methods of teaching.

Сomputer graphics were viewed as an effective method of studying social science disciplines, the use of which makes it possible to get a more complete understanding of the subject of study, to form the key competencies of students through visual means of learning.

 The expediency of using the infographic approach as an effective method of attracting the necessary is substantiated information in a visually attractive way. Effective means of visualization, which has significant capabilities: addition, systematization, clarification and visualization of text information, and can be used in modern education, providing for the combination of text with graphics in various proportions. Also it has been presented the main types of infographics and the methodology of using infographics in the process of studying social science disciplines.

 It has been emphasized that infographics have a high potential, which can be used as a useful means of improving the quality of education. The main advantage of which is to ensure information saturation and visibility of educational materials, appeal to the existing knowledge and experience of the user, which become mediators on the path of choosing the trajectory of information perception.
