Using of digital technologies in the educational process in the institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education

Abstract

The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of digital technologies in the educational process of the institution of postgraduate pedagogical education. We understand the concept of «digital technologies» as a product with the help of which it is possible to create, view, distribute, change, store, select, transmit and receive information by electronic means in digital form.

It has been established directions of research on the use of digital technologies in the institution of postgraduate pedagogical education: the forms of conducting classes, the conditions for the formation of digital competence of the teacher, the content of advanced training courses, etc. It has been identified approaches to the classification of digital technologies: according to educational purposes, areas of professional activity, etc.

It has been characterized the digital technologies and tools used in the methodological and teaching activities of the institution of postgraduate pedagogical education (Google Meet, Google Forms, Mentimeter, PowerPoint, Gamma.app, FreeMind, Bubbl.us, MindMup, Padlet, Jamboard, Google documents, Word Art or Tagul, Сanva, etc.), which make the learning process interesting, interactive, motivating, enrich and complement the teacher's story.

  Furthermore, it has been proposed classification of digital technologies and tools according to the directions of their use in the educational process of the institution of postgraduate pedagogical education: tools for organizing the educational process; feedback; visualization of educational material; services for joint activities; preparation and design of methodical materials; preservation of information; professional communication. Prospects for further research are:  using of augmented reality technologies and artificial intelligence in the educational process.
