Abstract

In the article, gender-educational discourse presents the psychological and pedagogical views of Vasyl Sukhomlinsky. Constructing gender orientations in children and young people. Content analysis of gender ideas of education and upbringing in educational process is conducted. It was found out that Vasily emphasized the special approach to raising children of each gender. The importance of gender education has been emphasized since childhood. It has been found that the «gender matrix» of the Ukrainian humanist teacher is the basis for modern standards of gender equality, expanding the egalitarian worldview of parents and educators, forming the gender competency of future teachers and gender culture in the younger generation. It is revealed that for the development of girls ‘and boys’ personality it is necessary for them to participate in all kinds of activities where success is provided by willpower, perseverance, where the strength, endurance, resilience, determination of boys and girls, where deep and hidden intellectual competition between them, is compared. It was emphasized that a Gender Center was established and operates at the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna, which is steadily on the path of its development, as this was preceded by a number of approved legal acts.
