Modern educational lesson in the context of the new ukrainian school

Abstract

The article outlines the basis of the analysis of scientific works, carried out research and normative legal documents in the field of education, the peculiarities of the educational activity in the context of the competence (child-centered) educational paradigm. It has been focused attention on the directions and trends of the development of modern educational activities and the dominance of the subjectivity of the student of education as the main characteristic of the quality of educational activities. In particular, the main characteristics, types and structure of educational classes in the conditions of implementation of modern approaches were analyzed. It has been paid attention to the specifics of preparation and conducting of each structural stage of a modern educational session: motivational, goal-setting and planning, development of new material and reflective-evaluative. The specifics of defining the goal, educational goals and planning an educational session are outlined; actualization of basic knowledge and subject experience; application of interactive forms of educational interaction of education seekers, modern technologies and methods of competence training; reflection and evaluation of educational achievements of education seekers.

It has been emphasized the importance of the development of key and subject competencies as a determining factor in improving the quality of education in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School reform. The necessity of using competence-oriented tasks during the lesson, which contribute to the formation and development of universal general education skills to apply the acquired knowledge in practical activities, simulate a real or quasi-real situation, ensure the organization of purposeful actions in the process of completing tasks, is substantiated. It has been proven that a modern educational session is a way of organizing the joint activities of a teacher and students to achieve the expected learning outcomes defined by state educational standards.
