The system of principles for the formation of the culture of language and literature teacher’s professional self-development in postgraduate pedagogical education
Abstract
The article analyzes the scientific literature and regulations that define the system of principles for the formation of the culture of professional self-development of a language and literature teacher. The author's principles are substantiated, i.e. the principle of equivalence between the projects for professional self-development of the language and literature teacher and the associative stories of nature’s life creation; the principle of activity in the construction and implementation of the technology and methods of professional self-development based on the artistic principles; the principle of dichotomous attitude to the integral components of the culture of teacher’s professional self-development, her/his ability to self-actualization; the principle of the connection between personal orientation and syncretism in the teacher’s mastery of the culture of professional self-development based on art. The adapted technology of photovoice is offered to reveal the individual trajectory of the teacher’s self-growth.
The structural components of the culture of professional self-development of the language and literature teacher are determined, i.e. the spiritual culture in the contents of philological disciplines at the axiological level; the culture of self-development of willingness to professional self-improvement in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education; the culture of self-development of professional competence for professional and pedagogical culture with the use of verbal and nonverbal means; the culture of self-development of the ability to emotional and volitional self-regulation by mastering the values of the content of postgraduate pedagogical education; the ability to reflect on the intermediate results of the self-development process. Various examples of application of principles which promote language and literature teachers’ willingness to lifelong education, their ability to personal and professional self-development are provided.
