Main trends professional development of pedagogical practitioners New Ukrainian School

Abstract

On the basis of the analysis of scientific works and carried out research, regulatory and legal documents in the field of education, the content and main trends of the professional development of pedagogical workers of the new Ukrainian school are outlined.  Among them: among which: knowledge of normative legal documents in the field of education; implementation of modern approaches to education and upbringing; organization of educational activities and teaching of subjects / integrated courses in the context of the new paradigm of education; application of modern technologies and teaching methods, including digital technologies; evaluation of educational achievements of education seekers in the conditions of competence education; organization of inclusive education; providing support for the professional development of teaching staff as competitive specialists.

It has been placed emphasis on the importance of scientific and methodological work. This is the beginning of the formation of a system of teacher professional development and the improvement of readiness to pedagogical activity for the effective implementation of a new model of competent training.

It has been  justified the need for the development of general and professional competencies of pedagogical workers as a determining factor in improving the quality of education, implementation of competence-based, personally oriented, activity-based, technological, environmental and integrative approaches is substantiated.

 It has been proven that the implementation of modern approaches, directions and forms of professional development of pedagogical workers is an important factor in solving the tasks of the New Ukrainian School, the integration of the national education system into the European space.
