Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the educational needs and requests of pedagogical workers in matters of student education, organization of extracurricular education.
It has been established that in the conditions of martial law, the formation of safety skills, national and universal human values in students, psychological and pedagogical support of children, including those with the status of internally displaced persons, organization of remote interaction between participants in the educational process are urgent problems for various categories of teachers etc.
There is an increase of interest in the psychological aspects of the development and upbringing of a child, including those with special educational needs, the formation of partnership with the parents of students, and methods of countering various forms of violence. In addition, the formation of educational needs and requests is influenced by the tasks defined in the regulatory and legal documents in the field of education, the job duties of teachers, as well as their work experience.
It has been found that the majority of interviewed teachers prefer blended learning, which allows combining the possibilities of remote and face-to-face interaction in the formation of the necessary competencies in students. The participants of the survey, as active subjects of their own professional development, suggested indicative topics of lectures, practical classes, methodical activities that would be of interest to them.
The study confirmed the importance of using various forms and methods of professional development of pedagogical workers. The results of the study are of practical importance for the organization of the work of the heads of professional communities of pedagogical workers, consultants of the CPDP, teachers and methodologists of post-graduate pedagogical education institutes.
