Innovative practices of a teacher of the new Ukrainian school: from experience to innovations
Abstract
The article emphasizes that an important condition for implementing the pedagogical activity of a modern teacher is new forms of implementation and dissemination of pedagogical experience, in particular, the reorientation of this experience to innovation and innovative activity. Under these conditions, the main idea of the content of school education is the implementation of new methods and approaches to learning. In particular, teachers should not just acquire practical skills in forming key competencies in students but also master new techniques and educational technologies, and contribute to their creation and dissemination.
Innovative learning is considered by the author as a process and result of such pedagogical activity that stimulates the introduction of innovative changes into modern culture, modern social experience, and modern school as a socio-pedagogical system open to change. Attention is drawn to the fact that among the new forms of dissemination, implementation, use, and mastering of pedagogical experience for the implementation of state standards of primary, basic secondary, and specialized education and the organization of the educational process in the New Ukrainian school, innovative practice is a new form of creative and skillful pedagogical activity of the teacher, aimed at spreading his own experience of pedagogical interaction with participants in the educational process based on the introduction of new approaches, educational strategies, techniques, methods of educational activity during the lesson and in extracurricular time.
It is emphasized that innovations in the New Ukrainian school are aimed at improving not only the quality of students' results but above all the quality of pedagogical activity because each innovative practice is based on experience and the implementation of a new system of forms and methods of teaching, upbringing, and development of the student's personality must germinate into the use of special approaches to their application, non-standard use of methods and techniques of pedagogical activity.
