Valuable potential of competence education in New Ukrainian School

Abstract

The valuable potential of the competence-based content of education is embedded in the unity of learning, upbringing, and the development of the student's personality. It helps the New Ukrainian School to create an effective educational environment that increases the level of academic achievements and develops skills of interpersonal dialogue communication that are preserved throughout life. A positive atmosphere of partnership interaction, full of freedom, trust and security, is primarily formed by parents and teachers, because they are the bearers of values that students take for granted.

Value-oriented education in the New Ukrainian School is the education of the character of the student's personality, it is an attempt to create auxiliary structures alongside class teams to promote the development of positive, ethical, prosocial tendencies and competencies in children and student youth. In particular, around strengthening the academic and value orientation of achievements and strengthening education in the conditions of the educational system/system of education of common values in the institution of general secondary education.

Education, upbringing, development of the student's personality based on values in the New Ukrainian School is carried out thanks to the value orientations of competence education, new educational practices and pedagogical strategies of effective peer interaction.

It helps to identify personal advantages, hidden talents and implement ideas, help others, focus on building relationships, expanding the opportunities of students, critical discussions about behavior and value attitudes to interaction and their consequences, positive communication with mentors, seeing the child's personality at the center of the institution's mission, partnership interaction with parents.
